Would you like to track and monitor....

Your Business trip expenses?
A diet system?
Hours worked for invoicing?
The amount of time you watch the T.V.
How many units of alcohol you are drinking?
The distance you cycle to work?
Sales Targets?
Your weight?
How much money you spend on alcohol?
How many calories you are eating?
How many fruit and veg you are eating?

..... The possibilities are endless.

Would you like to see total and average figures for these trackers over a number of a number of days, or weeks, using a unique and dynamic user experience?

Life Tracker from Mobile Software Works is the ultimate tracking solution with a million and one uses.
No longer are you forced to purchase individual applications to track differing aspects of your life.

Creating a custom Tracker is a few simple taps away, just name a new tracker and select what type it is, Date Range, Distance Miles, Weight kg etc. etc.

The Totalizer lets you shift the graph left and right and zoom in and out with swipes of the finger.
The user is presented with totalized data for the range shown between the selector, and is able to lock the Totalizer to a given number of days, which allows you to easily see targets achieved, or show totals for a given range.

The application comes with preloaded demonstration trackers and data, so its really easy to see how things work.

Easily export data shown on the totalizer to email, or if the totalizer is locked just the data from the region specified or export the whole dataset from the app.

Exports are to email in a format(csv) that can be imported into any spreadsheet application on PC, Mac, Linux etc.

New graph types, simply doule click on the graph to display the data in a dot graph, that, instead of stacking each item, shows the time along the x axis and the value on the y axis. Also time can be represented as a stacked bar chart, to easily read total amounts for each day.

Password protection
Slick, easy to set up password protection.
Keep prying eyes away from your data!

Pros and cons of Life Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Life Tracker app good for

How many of us would like to know how we are doing with some "variables" of our life, like weight, time spent on the computer, etc? Well, this app helps you to do that. It could be more user friendly and more beautiful than it is, but anyway it is great. I became addicted to it. And the price is affordable!
A very good application with an intellignet approach to tracking activities, displaying them, and exporting data to Excel. A very powerful tool for self motivation too. I believe that updates will surely add customization and other recommendations by users. You will use this application if you download it. It is easy to use. (Oh, and it only took a minute to remove the sample data).
This was a perfect little trend tracker for me! Its simple to use and I didnt have any trouble deleting the sample data.

Some bad moments

I figured for $0.99 this would be an okay app, but after having used it for several months now, Im still frustrated with a few things, all of which I emailed the author about and none of which have been addressed. If you cant get simple things (like the export) working properly, pull your app from the store. I like the innovative timeline only it doesnt really work properly for all trackables.
There appears to be no way to change or add to the available units, e.g. lb. instead of kg.. nor to delete unwanted units, e.g. British pounds. Instead "tracker type" seems to be a fixed list. Too many steps (4) to start and stop a tracker; non-intuitive user interface for starting and stopping. Maybe a single button press from the totalizer page would be better?
This app comes pre-loaded with too much sample entries. I spent 10 minutes deleting a month of weight-watcher menus --once I found the delete function. Once cleaned up, this app works well and can be useful. I look forward to the next upgrade.
Its sad when someone has a great idea but cant turn into reality. That is iTotal. I ignored all the bad comments and even used some to my advantage -like figuring out how to delete. But still there was more that didnt quite work - the date wheels get stuck and you have to make extra taps to get them moving, the export to email from Misc crashes and the one from the Totalizer exports something else entirely (I think the date and time of entry nit the actual entry). For this week, Totalizer is a fancy notepad. Sorry. I encourage you to actually bring your prototype to working condition. Dont give up!
I initially gave this app a high rating, but after using it for a while I realized it is really not ready for serious use. The most notable shortcoming being the inability to purge existing data by date except by deleting entries one by one. Very tedious. The developer stubbornly insists that the ability to manage existing data is not something users would want, so no fix for this is on the horizon. Another silly app falls to the delete button.
This app crashes every time i try to use it. Support has been unresponsive.
